WWYSA has been introducing young people and adults to the joy of sailing since 1967. Based at Westbury Lake, we offer RYA-aligned courses in a safe, encouraging environment — completely run by dedicated volunteers.
Whether your child is picking up a tiller for the first time or you're an adult who's always wanted to try sailing, our qualified instructors will help you progress at your own pace. All courses follow the Royal Yachting Association's structured learning pathway, so you'll build real, recognised skills on the water.

Youth Sailing
Progressive RYA courses for young sailors aged 8–18. From your first time in a boat to confident independent sailing — we'll take you through it step by step in a fun, safe environment.
